

We don’t see much of her mom, and I’m really curious as to what’s going on with her, because I JUST KNOW there’s something fishy. Then again, their inability to do math just adds drama and conflict to their relationship. But with the introduction of Orion, we see what I’m absolutely sure will become a love triangle, especially whenever Helen and Lucas find out that they aren’t related and that Helen’s mom lied to everyone about that. What they don’t know- but the reader does- is that they really aren’t related. The island is completely weird, people are out to get Helen, and she and Lucas need to avoid each other, because it’s too hard for them to be near each other and it t doesn’t work out too well.
